 TASTING NOTES: This wine shows an bright garnet color, fading just a bit towards the edges. It has an elegant nose of cherry, earth and mushroom with almost a creamy overtone. The flavor is very smooth, very balanced, with pleasant berry fruits and soft tannins. The finish lasts a really long time, and has just a touch of truffle at the very end. FOOD MATCH: Think roasted leg of lamb with rosemary or wild mushroom risotto finished with shaved truffles. Also great with soft cheeses such as Brie, Camembert and Chervre. |
